Our Staff
NICOLETA BALAN, DPT, OMPT
Graduated from Wayne State University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 and Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Oakland University in 2016. Nicoleta went on and received her Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification from Oakland University. Nicoleta is a pilates instructor, treats vestibular patients, and uses the Graston technique instruments and Kinesiotaping in her treatments. Nicoleta enjoys ballroom dancing, skiing, playing badminton and hanging out with friends.
KIMBERLY LEONARD, PT CSCS
Graduated from Indiana University in 1996 with a degree in Physical Therapy and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 1999. Her areas of clinical expertise and interest range from working with young athletes to frail seniors. She uses myofascial, craniosacral and muscle energy along with other manual techniques. She is a certified Remedial Exercise Consultant and will soon be a Certified Dementia Care Specialist. She believes all patients are “athletes of life” and wants to help them live their fullest life possible. In her free time she spends her time running, working out and being with her husband, three daughters and her dog.
NICOLE SENKO, MS, PT
Graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Master’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005. Nicole’s areas of clinical interest and certification include myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, vestibular therapy, OTAGO Falls Prevention Program, and LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s Disease. In her free time, she is often hiking, skiing, watching baseball, or camping with her husband and two sons.
